This is a topic that I try to control my anger with sometimes because it pisses me off every time that it surfaces. I absolutely hate watching the news or reading about a crime story and then finding out that the suspect has a lengthy rap sheet that includes a crime that he or she should still be serving time for. We have law abiding citizen’s that are violated, hurt and killed on a daily basis by these pieces of crap that are given a slap on the wrist by our judicial system and allowed to roam the streets and live amongst the rest of us.
I have yet to process how some of these criminals can have charges that consists of such things as strong armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and assault and battery with intent to kill, but yet they are released after serving a couple of months in prison. How could you release these types of individuals back into the community because they were on good behavior in prison for a couple of months? How could you allow these criminals that tried to kill someone or threatened to kill someone while robbing them, to not serve any time but get a couple years of probation and hit the streets again? I don’t get the system, I never will understand the system, and I will go on record as saying that everyone in the judicial system deserves to have their butt kicked by the honest, law abiding citizens of this country. The government spends taxpayers dollars on those that are convicted and locked up, spends taxpayers dollars on those that use a public defender and spends taxpayers money prosecuting them, all while letting so many of them walk free. That is a blatant slap in the face. The only way to bring the crime rate down is to start making hard *** examples out of these useless, waste of human matter. I don’t want to hear about any three strikes rule and all this other crap that the system has come up with as an excuse to let these criminals off the hook. If they come before the system with an armed robber charge or intent to kill charge and is found guilty, give them 15 years automatically with no parole and no early release. If convicted of murder, give them life automatically and no parole. Once in prison, remove the tv’s and radio’s and give them only a Bible.
